In 2006, Make It Work was named Software Services Company of the Year by the Software Council of Southern California. The company has been named Best Of in computer repair by the Santa Barbara Independent and was named 6th Fastest Growing Company in the Tri-counties by Pacific Coast Business Times in 2009. Make It Work made the Inc500 list in 2007 as the 78th fastest growing IT company in the United States.

In 2008, Make It Work launched Poogling: Internet Safety Seminars, dedicated to bringing awareness and providing education on child Internet safety to parents throughout Southern California. In January 2010 Make It Work partnered with Santa Barbara School Districts and the Santa Barbara Education Foundation to bring Poogling to the Santa Barbara community in a city-wide seminar. Make It Work has also partnered with Verizon to create an online version of the seminar so the message will be more readily available for parents everywhere. In March of 2009, the company was awarded the honor of becoming the host of Tech News, powered by Make It Work, on KNX 1070, LA's premiere news/talk radio station, a CBSRadio owned station. The show was hosted by Make It Work's co-founder, Jeremy Anticouni. Tech News grew quickly in its early stages, and topped the Arbitron ratings repeatedly. In January 2010, building on the success of Tech News in Los Angeles, Make It Work launched a second radio show, Make It Work Radio, broadcasting in San Francisco on KSFO 560, an ABC/Citadel station. After a year on air, the final San Francisco broadcast aired December 25, 2010, and after two successful years on air, the Tech News radio show on KNX 1070 completed its final episode on February 27, 2011.

In 2010, Make It Work launched Web Development and Social Web interactive Marketing (SWiM®) services along with Online Help Desk®, both of which are nationwide offerings.
